1- Don’t follow the crowd; following the crowd will hold you back from success.
2- Accept yourself; don’t change who you are just because others don’t accept you.
3- Pamper yourself; create a self-care routine for yourself.
4- Step out of your comfort zone; experiment something new.
5- Stop comparing yourself to others; every person is different.
2. Help others :
“We rise by lifting others.” When you help others you are also helping yourself by boosting your confidence, self-respect, and self-esteem. You experience “helpers high” when you help others. One of the most empowering habit that someone can acquire is helping others. Putting a smile on someone else’s face will for sure put a smile on your face. As a matter of fact, no one ever got miserable by helping others. Studies show people who help others are most likely to succeed. Helping others will help you maintain a gritty mindset!
3. Let go of negativity :
Letting go of negativity is not one of the easiest thing to do. Life is full of ups and downs, and when something terrible happens in our life we tend to dwell on it. And that’s when the we ask ourself “Can things get any worse?” a second later you face another problem. It’s all about the LAW of attraction. You attract what you give or think. If you complain and not accept the situation you’re in, Life WILL throw more problems at you. DONT CHALLENGE LIFE. Spread positivity ! Instead of asking yourself “can things get any worse”? Thank god for the life you are living. Instead of complaining, pick yourself up and try fixing the problem that you are facing. One of the characteristics of grit is achieving whatever you need no matter what life throws at you.
How do you let go of negativity ?
– Be grateful
– Say “I can” instead of “I can’t”
– Get with people who have a positive vibe towards life.
– Stop worrying
– Avoid negative self talk!
4. Limit your time on social media :
YES YES YES. Research says that people nowadays spend 50% of their day on social media. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. Believe me when I tell you that most of the time, social media is the main cause of stress. Studies show that people who spend most of their time on social media have a higher chance of having low self-esteem. I would be a hypocrite if I tell you don’t use social media, because I myself used to use it a lot. I can proudly say that I limited the time I spend on social media. Limiting my time on social media opened my eyes to the bigger picture. I’ll share with you some of the observations I made about people who spend most of their time on social media; –Makes your life extremely public. you miss a lot of good moments. – Its addictive !! some people try to impress others, they want other people’s approval. – It’s a WASTE of time. Instead of spending time on social media you could do something beneficial for you. However, I realized that some businesses nowadays use social media as a tool to market things. Which I believe is a very smart idea. But if its to an extent where you spend 50% of your day on social media then it’s unhealthy. Whether you are using social media for business or personal purposes you should still limit your time. Because its one of the main things that cause stress and anxiety, which is obviously not bettering yourself. In fact, its bringing more negative energy in your life !
